Get Writing & Stay Writing: A Creative Writing Jumpstart For Teens

Do you love to write? Do you think maybe you might? Are you looking for inspiration and community to motivate you to finish your book or graphic novel? At the Adirondack Center for Writing’s 90 minute drop in workshop at Goff Nelson Library in Tupper Lake, instructor and published author Tyler Barton will introduce participants to tools, resources, prompts, and ideas to foster a creative writing practice. You’ll even have the opportunity to write and share (optional) your work during the class. With a long winter ahead and National Novel Writing Month right around the corner, there’s no better time to ignite your writing skills. Best of all, you’ll meet other creative writers your age, and maybe you’ll develop your own writing group.
