Akwesasne Women Singers at the Bandshell

Tupper Lake Public Library will be hosting a free program by the Akwesasne Women Singers on 10/01/22 at 4:00 PM at the Sunset Stage bandshell in Flanders Park. The group will share folk songs and alternate with some Women’s Dance verses. In addition, the women will speak about their lives as Onkwehonwe women from Ahkwesahsne. This event was made possible thanks to a Lake Placid Education Foundation grant from the Adirondack Foundation.
